How Ditzy Media began…
Back in 2014, Mina O’Brien founded Ditzy Media at a time when very few agencies focused solely on social media marketing. Fast forward to 2026, and we’re proudly celebrating 12 years of supporting businesses, charities, non-profits and community events across Eastbourne, Sussex and well beyond — with clients as far afield as Africa.
What started as a bold idea has grown into a small-but-mighty team punching well above its weight. Today, that team is Mina O’Brien (Founder), Laura Parish (Video Marketing & Content Creator) and Scarlett Tennant (Graphics & Content Creator). Three people all committed to one shared mission: to help you shine online.

Being a small business ourselves, we’ve always believed in giving back to the community that made us. Over the years we’ve been proud to support:
• Eastbourne Carnival – managing sponsor and entrant content, generating around 200 pieces of content in Carnival month alone and helping the event reach hundreds of thousands online.
• The Big Futures Show – championing careers, skills and opportunities for young people.
• Eastbourne Youth Radio – amplifying local voices.
• The Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce – supporting fellow local businesses to thrive.
We’ve also worked with charities, non-profits and community-focused organisations who lack the time (or the inclination!) to run their own social media — helping them reach the people who need to hear from them most.
